The Traveler: I'm sure you're familiar with carnivores, which are animals that eat meat. Frugivores are animals that eat fruits.

NOR THE KNOWING: only fruit?

The Traveler: Nothing in nature is that rigid but essentially, yes.

Delilah: You know what?
Delilah: I can't say I remember any of my kindergarten curriculum mentioning frugivores.
Delilah: Carnivores, sure.
Delilah: We need more frugivore representation.

The Traveler: Lol, I agree.

Delilah: I'm gonna have to bring that up.

NOR THE KNOWING: do it

The Traveler: I think it would be nice. To mostly eat fruit. Simpler.

NOR THE KNOWING: i guess

The Traveler: I'm not a vegan though I can understand where the philosphy comes from.
The Traveler: Eating fruit, which is provably designed to be eaten, sounds much more appealing than ending a life to continue living.

Delilah: ...yeah.
Delilah: I totally get you.

NOR THE KNOWING: but what about pizza?

The Traveler: Perhaps fruit pizza wouldn't be half bad.

Delilah: That actually sounds good :o
Delilah: Now ~I~ want to be a frugivore...!

NOR THE KNOWING: fruit isnt bad but i like variety

Delilah: Yeah but if you magically became a frugivore, it wouldn't matter! You wouldn't miss it :)

NOR THE KNOWING: ha

The Traveler: What are you favorite fruits, Nor?
The Traveler: *your

NOR THE KNOWING: strawberries are ok

Delilah: Dude now I'm gonna have to make fruit salad.....

The Traveler: Make sure to put some pineapple in it.

Delilah: omg I love pineapple!

NOR THE KNOWING: pineapple juice is k
NOR THE KNOWING: but the fruit it has a weird texture
NOR THE KNOWING: it almost hurts

The Traveler: There's a reason for that.

NOR THE KNOWING: ppl try to tell me im sensitive

The Traveler: You are not. Pineapples have a unique molecular structure that is spiny to the point where humans can detect it.

NOR THE KNOWING: woah

The Traveler: They also contain an enzyme that disintegrates protien which can further irritate your mouth.

NOR THE KNOWING: sounds like it doesnt want to get eaten

The Traveler: Ah, but those effects are harmless. If it truly did not want to be eaten, we would know.

Delilah: Huh??????

The Traveler: You'd be surprised how many things are genetically modified.
The Traveler: Now, pineapples were not made overnight in a lab. They were selectively bred from a wild plant over generations and generations in South America.

NOR THE KNOWING: how do you know all this stuff?

The Traveler: 1. Pay attention. 2. Write things down. 3. Do that for years.

Delilah: Correcto!
