And so another month ticks by.

You'd think I would have updated my journal yesterday, on "Halloween" as it is called on your layer, the day to celebrate the dark sides of life. This lack of action serves two meanings: for one, I was occupied that day. The second... Every day is Halloween for me. Verily, every day is Halloween for you, as well, if you have the courage to observe your surroundings.

Anyhow, I have been thinking about how many things in existence are completely contrived. The writers of your/our layer are beholden to the same rules of "it just is," it seems. By that I mean how, at times, the happenings of our layer make no sense and are, quite frankly, bad writing and worldbuilding. Though, perhaps "bad" is the wrong word.

Why should the sky be blue instead of red? It just is. They could have made the sky fuschia.
